As the QA Developer at the El Tiempo, you will be responsible
for defining, communicating, and executing our quality vision &
processes in our web and mobile scrum. This role requires a solid blend
of testing experience, software engineering and technical knowledge to
dive into the depths of El Tiempo technology.
You will
work closely with our Software Developers and Product Team, to help
coach and implement best-practices. You are passionate about technology
and will take a hands-on approach to qualifying our releases, while
keeping test frameworks, automation and repeatable processes at the
front of your mind.
Main Responsibilities:
- Review product requirements and design from testability and quality perspective
- Establish test plan, test requirement matrix, test design/specification and test cases/charters
- Architect from the ground up and maintain an automation framework for the test plan
- Set the best practices and foundations of testing for the Development Team
- Develop automation test scripts for the new framework utilizing for user Interface and API communication.
- Work closely with product, development and infrastructure teams on release planning and deployments
Qualifications:
- BSc in Computer Science or equivalent
- Experience (3+ years) build automation frameworks for web and mobile applications (PHP, iOS and Android)
- Experience (3+ years) with programming/scripting (PHP, Swift, Java, Python, etc.)
- Experience with bug-tracking software and Agile tools such as JIRA
- Experience with API testing techniques
- Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) to interface with other teams
- Development experience with git and Bitbucket.
- 1+
years experience with continuous integration platforms
(Hudson/Jenkins/Bamboo) in conjunction with automated artifact
deployment and testing
