Ontruck
was founded in order to develop technologies which will make the road
freight experience a smooth and efficient one for both truckers and for
companies who send shipments.
We do this by drastically reducing
the amount of empty kilometers traveled by goods vehicles, therefore
optimzing their use and occupancy. Thanks to our product, hauliers
secure loads more easily and companies who send shipments can do so
quickly and comfortably. All this while contributing to conserving the
environment by reducing CO2 emissions.

Requirements
Being
able to deliver great experience to our clients means having a
sufficient and highly performant supply part in our marketplace. In
order to do so, company needs to be agile and efficient in Carrier
acquisition, being able to identify, contact and acquire the partners we
need is critical to sustain our growth.
Carrier Acquisition
Associate is in front line to deliver this mission, managing the
different acquisition channels to deliver qualitative leads and ensure
company growth in each of the cities we’re operating in.
You will take ownership of:
- Working
closely with local supply and sales teams to understand their needs and
being able to provide sufficient qualitative leads at the right moment
- Managing
Carrier Acquisition budget among different channels and initiatives
(online marketing, database scrapping, partnership, influencer, referral
program, …), optimizing at city and vehicle type level, based on the
development stage and the needs of each local teams
- Managing Shippers Long-tail Acquisition budget and campaigns strategies
- Adapting
acquisition strategy and tactics to our different target audiences
(fleet vs. owner operators, light vehicles vs. heavy vehicles) to be
efficient and scalable in every segment/business lines
- Building
strategic partnership with external companies that can help us reaching
carriers & shippers in a creative and effective way
- Piloting initiatives like the Referral program, to leverage our current base of engaged carriers
KPIs you’ll be responsible for are:
- Cost per Lead
- Cost per Carrier Acquisition
- Cost per Shipper Acquisition
- Supply availability
You
are eager to get your foot in the door at a fast paced, rapidly growing
startup. You will demonstrate the ability to excel in a dynamic work
environment as an early member of a growing team. In partnership with
product and operations teams, the carrier acquisition associate acts as
marketing expert, problem solver and quality control. You'll bring the
enthusiasm and aptitude necessary to get the job done!
- At least 2 years of experience in Optimization Marketing, B2B or B2C, preferably in hyperlocal marketing
- Excellent
business judgement and critical thinking skills, with the ability to
use data to quickly establish priorities and develop a strategy to
deliver them
- Capacity to align 4 different local teams with Global process
- Experience and mindset in optimizing and automating scaling acquisition processes
- Experience working closely and communicating effectively with internal and external partners
- Proficient English level. French, Spanish, German or other additional languages are highly valued.
