What you'll be doing:
- Designing and building new ML models based on our existing data
- Growing and maintaining our database of over 200M construction tasks
- Exploring our dataset to find insights from historical data
- Maintaining and developing our ML training pipeline
- Creating your own tools to automate processes
- Participating in setting the direction of the product
- Helping other team members through peer code reviews
What we'd like you to have:
- A PhD in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Statistics, Mathematics,
Physics or Computer Science, or equivalent research experience with
proven publications in the field
- Strong knowledge of Python, including pandas, numpy, visualisation tools like matplotlib or ggplot, and jupyter notebooks
- Knowledge of at least one deep learning framework (such as Tensorflow, Theano, Caffe, Torch, PyTorch)
- Familiar working with Git in engineering teams
- A desire to build something that can completely revolutionise how someone goes about their job
- (bonus) contributions to relevant open source projects
- (bonus) knowledge of distributed programming
- (bonus) an understanding of document embeddings
- (bonus) experience in previous Machine Learning startups
