Junior Researcher en Barcelona

We are Talaia (www.talaia.io), a cloud-based SaaS network visibility platform that customers can deploy in minutes.

After raising substantial funding, we are seeking a motivated, driven candidate to become a junior researcher at our R&D team.

You will collaborate in the tasks associated with our participation in research projects, and assist in the research of novel technologies to be incorporated in our products. Areas of research include network analytics, cybersecurity, big data, and SDN/NFV.

Requirements:

- Solid background in Computer Science, including algorithms & data structures, and software engineering principles
- Knowledge in cybersecurity and big data
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and within groups

Nice to haves:

- Experience in distributed systems
- Experience in participating in European research projects
- Prior research experience in academia or industry
- Participation in hackathons and programming contests
