Glovo is looking for an Frontend Advertising Technology
Specialist to join the Growth team based in the Barcelona HQ. In this
position, you will join the new Ad Tech team, helping the Digital
Marketing department stay at the forefront of marketing technology and
automation.
You are someone who loves working in a fast-paced startup

delivering thought-through, well designed, flexible and easy to use
solutions. You work well with other top-level marketers, product
managers and engineers and value constructive feedback that helps you
grow as a professional. You are not afraid of getting your hands dirty
with a platform or technology that you don’t know and you see any
problem as an opportunity for improvement.
You will:
Be a part of an ad tech team that works directly with the digital marketing department
Develop software using modern engineering approaches and agile principles
Building marketing dashboards, basic automations and data feeds with the BI team
Explore gamification and personalisation to improve the customer experience
Lead integration of marketing and external tools to improve visibility between teams
Email and inapp templating, and designing landing pages
Own your deliverables from start to finish
Deliver high-quality solutions
Participate in the team’s life and contribute to decision-making
Mentor and empower marketing team members
Experiment, test and suggest new development approaches
Requirements:
Computer Science or similar degree
Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience
Solid JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS skills
Working knowledge of Python and Java
Experience working with 3rd party APIs
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Vivid interest in at least one area outside of coding (architecture, algorithms, optimization, automation, scalability, etc.)
Experience with Looker, Google app scripts
Participation in open source projects
Previous experience working with Marketing teams
Working SQL knowledge
Interest in machine learning principles
