Position
IT & Security Associate internship
In this role, you will work on maintaining and monitoring the computer systems and networks for our business. You will be tasked with solving basic to complex technical issues and will also collaborate with team members across all departments to assist them with their technical & security requirements.
You will be in the heart of matters to deal directly with employees who have technical or security related problems, and aligning with the security team in their analytic tasks in their day to day tasks.
Responsibilities
-Basic security analytics (compliance reporting, patching etc.) and supporting the security team in a day to day work
-Installation & configuration of a company’s computer software operating systems and corresponding applications
-General workstation management (naming, provisioning, software tech support, installation of security agents)
-Talk staff through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the phone/chat, to help set up systems or resolve IT issues (Example: App support, GPG, Gmail etc.)
-Diagnosing and solving software faults
-Set up new users' accounts for different services and profiles and deal with password issues
-Write procedures (work instructions) and generate reports for IT and security
-Support the roll-out of new applications
-Working on related tasks in the ticketing system
-Logging the support queries of employees
-Basic email system management (User suspension, password reset etc.)
-Onboarding/Offboarding users
-Day-to-day company IT challenges and issues
-Reviewing the software for compliance with company policy and licensing agreements
-Basic maintenance in the AWS infrastructure, internal and customer faced: installation of packages, upgrade version of services

Qualifications
-Current student in computer science or a related field
-English - full working proficiency
-Certifications are preferred, but not required
-Good knowledge of Mac OS/Linux/Windows system environments
-Working knowledge and expertise with a variety of software, hardware, and applications
-Knowledge of Terraform, cloud formation and ansible
-Ability to perform some scripting (python, bash,...)
