Job description
As Full-Stack Developer, you will work
in a highly attractive technological environment in the booming video
market. You will play a key role in shaping the core foundations of our
product and building innovative features in close cooperation with Front
Developers, Designers and Scrum Masters.
- Design and scale real-time distributed systems to support millions of users
- Continuously improve and update Dailymotion micro-services
- Develop new user-facing features from conception to execution
- Drive the development of elegant solutions to complex problems
- Participate in definition and roadmap design of new products, features & functionalities for users.
- Advance best practices with the engineering team through participation in design and code reviews
Job Requirements
- 3-5+ years of industry experience
- Extensive experience programming in Python, Go, PHP.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (Mongo in particular).
- Experience building APIs
- Experience working with revision control systems like git
- Good knowledge of one or more SPA frameworks/components: AngularJS, Backbone.js, Ember.js or React.js
- Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS
- Attitude of creating high quality code, learning from peers and always innovating
- You are comfortable with complex architecture (2000+ object classes, 300K code lines, 400 SQL tables)
- MS or Ph.D. in Computer Science OR equivalent work experience
- Provide proven track record in practical problem solving, excellent communication, and documentation skills
- Experience with Agile or Scrum methodology
