Job Description:
As a Backend/Frontend Engineer, you will innovate, learn and
participate in a startup that’s going to do great things. We are looking
for a smart, flexible, innovative thinker and team worker who isn’t
afraid of taking new challenges and learning new technologies. Most
importantly, we are looking for a motivated and versatile engineer who
is comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Within this role, the Full-stack engineer will be focusing on the
development of our API, as well as integration of new product features.
He/she will be comfortable with setting up technical specifications and
is familiar with software design patterns. This person will have
demonstrable experience creating testable, deployable, scalable and
documented software solutions. Importantly, this person will be a strong
communicator, both verbally and written, and will periodically present
advancements to stakeholders.
Desired Skills and Experiences
-A bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent minimum experience of 4 years)
-Extensive experience with Object Oriented Programming, software design and architecture patterns.
-Experience with Relational and NoSQL Databases
-Previous knowledge of the MEAN stack (MongoDB, ExpressJS, AngularJS, NodeJS)
-Knowledge with RESTful APIs.
-Advanced knowledge of Git
-Knowledge integrating code with different Web APIs.
-Familiar with JIRA and agile methodologies: Scrum or Kanban
-Ability to work in team oriented environments;
-Strong communicative skills, writing skills and present skills;
Some pluses:
Knowledge in NLP and Machine Learning (NLTK, Scikit Learn, etc.)
Full professional proficiency in English
