Senior Frontend Engineer (remote) en London o en remoto

Your primary task is to write quality frontend code in ReactJS for the Factmata website and Chrome extension. Our business is focused on software tools for fact checking and information verification and potentially a full stack IDE for fact checking which relies on web annotation.

This is a remote, full-time contract position. You will be working closely with the founding team by following the agile methodology.

What you'll be doing

- Designing, building and refining the UI for the website and Chrome extension
- Managing the frontend code, build automation, code quality, SASS/CSS style
- Implementing, discussing and suggesting UI/UX solutions
- Closely collaborating with our engineering team to deliver the frontend across different platforms and browser
- Participate in daily standups

Who we are looking for:

- You have a track record (4+ years) of working on the front-end [required]
- You have significant (2+ years) experience with ES6/React/Redux [required]
- You have a strong understanding of UX/UI [desirable]
- Strong knowledge git, frontend automation tools, sass/css. [required]
- Some understanding of the backend infrastructure built in Python [desirable]
- Knowledge of developing Chrome extension is a plus [desirable]
- You need to be passionate about Javascript and keep in touch with the latest developments around ES6, React, etc. You also need to be a leader who can take things into your own hands. [desirable]
