Job Description
The Olympic Channel is looking for a Director of Product Management to join our team and have direct impact on how fans discover and interact with unique content from one of the world’s most respected sports brands. The Product Team is an international group that collaborates with colleagues in Editorial, Marketing, PR, Legal, Finance, Commercial, Data and Technical Delivery as well as external partners and brands.

Lead a team of Product Managers to reach set goalsRefine the product development process together with the Head of Product and the Technology teamHelp define Product vision, strategy & roadmapIdentify market trends & new business opportunitiesAssess competitive challenges and deliver clear strategic recommendationsWith the help of the Data and Research teams, define, analyze and report metrics that inform on products success (both problem areas & opportunities)Help plan and direct resource schedules as well as project budgetsHelp shape and influence company’s overall business strategyJOB QUALIFICATIONS
Experience & Competencies Required for Success
10+ years Product Management and Leadership experienceExperience with web, mobile app, and connected televisionsExperience managing Agile product development processProven track record with successful consumer sports and/or news digital productsAbility to lead cross functional teams, manage dependencies & deliver resultsAct as the bridge between strategic planning and tactical executionStrong analytical skills, with ability to create appropriate KPIs to measure successPeople-focused, with ability to understand end user needs and translate into actionable strategiesTechnically savvy & comfortable with a multitude of software systems & toolsAbility to work independently, as well as collaborate as part of a teamClear track record of getting things done in timely & efficient mannerAbility to remain flexible, juggle multiple priorities, & change directions as neededExcellent writing and speaking skills; this individual must be able to communicate ideas and information clearly and conciselyFluent EnglishWorkplace & Environment
