This is how you will make an impact:
- Identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes
- Undertake preprocessing of structured and unstructured data from various sources
- Analyse large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns
- Build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms
- Present information using data visualisation techniques
- Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges
- Be part of the engineering and product development team
Requirements
- Experience as a data scientist/data analyst/data engineer
- Strong understanding and proven experience with Natural Language Processing (Neural Networks)
- Knowledge with multiple database technologies (e.g.: SQL, Mongo, Redis, Graph databases)
- Extensive knowledge about programming languages and state of the art frameworks
- Experience in data mining and data visualisation
- Understanding of machine-learning
- Analytical mind and business acumen
- Strong math skills (e.g. statistics, algebra)
- Problem-solving attitude
- Extensive knowledge of current trends and accomplishments in data science
- Studies in computer science, engineering or relevant field; degree in data science or other quantitative field is also great
