Data Engineer en Barcelona

We are looking to recruit an experienced computer engineer to join our technical team as a Data Engineer. The candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and improvement of a scalable data architecture for time series processing, and the implementation of machine learning based products.

The desired candidate should be passionate about technology, with initiative, proactive, a good team worker, and eager to keep learning; someone who understands the importance of writing clear, reusable code.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering

• Strong Python programming skills

• Expert knowledge of Linux command line environment, networks and database administration (SQL, MongoDB)

• Experience with cloud computing services (AWS, Google Cloud, ...)

• Knowledge of virtualization (Docker), automation (Jenkins, Luigi, …) and version control tools (Git)

Highly-valued skills / experience:

• Experience building and deploying data pipelines and services in AWS or another cloud service provider

• Experience using pandas

• Experience with geospatial data and/or weather/climate data

• Knowledge of statistics / machine learning

• Passion for renewable energies!
