Cross-Platform Mobile Developer en Paris

As the cross-platform mobile developer, you will be responsible for implementing the gaming mechanics, visual and interactive features for the Winky mobile app. Since this app is a bridge between the user and the robot, your work will be at the cornerstone between low-level communication protocols and high-level user experience concepts. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected as you will also take part of the upstream brainstorming phases of our application feature development cycle. You will work as part of a team and individually with little supervision, reporting to the CTO.

Job Responsibilities:

- Produce prototypes of gameplay ideas and features;
- Collaborate with the rest of the dev team to provide feedback and recommendation for lower level APIs and SDKs;
- Audit and select the most relevant frameworks for quick build deliveries, according to given functional specifications and visual mockups;
- Develop, release, and maintain stable builds;
- Implement and streamline the user experience across all views of the app;
- Model and animate 2D and 3D assets needed for the game features, based on concept arts;
- Foster quality control tools and methodology, set and run continuous unit and integration tests;
- Contribute to the design and audio features of the app;
- Keep the technical documentation up-to-date;
- Ensure compliance with distribution platforms (App store, Play store) rules and guidelines;
- Review user feedback and provide recommendations to the team;
- Ensure software licensing compatibility with third-party technologies.

Prerequisites:

- Entry-level job, a first experience in a professional or open source development team is appreciated;
- Autonomous, proactive, rigorous and organized mindset;
- Proven experience with Android and/or iOS application development and distribution ecosystems;
- Interest for robotics, videogames and education.
