Metalyfe is a rapidly growing start-up company developing a new way of browsing. We are basing our browser on the blockchain technology.

Who are we?

We are a young and dynamic team of 13 people in our Barcelona office. With a good mix of women and men, international and local, we never have a dull moment together. We value experience and results over age, which is a contributing factor to why our average age only is 28! But, age is only a number, as long as you bring your positive attitude to the office every day, we want you on our team no matter the age in your passport!

Main responsibilities:

• Develop decentralised features to be consumed by our browser.

Requirements:

• Studies in computer science or related fields.

• Proficiency in a smart contract language, such as Solidity.

• Demonstrable proficiency in at least one of Java, C++, Javascript or Python.

• Advanced English level.

Good to have:

• Proficiency with development tools for writing Smart Contracts (Truffle, etc.)

• Understands the nature of asynchronous programming, its quirks, and workarounds.

• Proficiency in code versioning tools, such as Git.
