We are seeking an experienced engineer to collaborate in the
development of our cloud-based imaging platform and offer operational
support. Responsibilities for this position include server-side
development (while communicating with the front-end team for a beautiful
and simple platform).
RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to streamline or improve adoption of the Mint Labs platform.
Collaborate with end users and partner with customers to design the best solutions.
Work at multiple layers of the application, both front-end and back-end.
Develop reliable, readable, and maintainable codes and test cases.
Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
Design software systems that can interact with humans, and interface with machines and other software.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or other relevant technical degree
Advanced English (other languages plus)
5+ years of experience in software development (SaaS preferred)
Python Guru
Excellent Object Oriented programming and code organization skills
Advanced experience in distributed systems and Google Compute Engine
Familiarity with Linux servers
Solid understanding of ‘Big Data’ technologies such as MongoDB, Map/Reduce, …
Familiarity with Continuous Delivery with Jenkins
Working knowledge of Test driven development
Desire to work within an Agile/Scrum framework
