WOOM is a data driven tech startup with a big and single dream: help people have kids.
Today between 20% - to 25% of couples in Europe and 17% in LATAM
experience a challenge in fertility. We currently operate in Spain,
Mexico and other LATAM Markets, with 500,000 registered users, and this
year we plan to continue with our international expansion. We are a team
of 12 talented professionals, covering Technology, Product Design,
Marketing and Community. All of us are coming from Google, eBay, or the
startup world.
Who are we looking for?
We
are looking for a Software Engineer with backend knowledge, who will
help us to build a solid, scalable platform that will be the core of our
product. We need someone with leadership skills, detail-oriented,
motivated and who really understands the importance of maintaining
perfectly optimized, well tested backend services. Someone that masters
common but universal best practices in software engineering such as
continuous integration, continuous delivery and testing.
Required skills
Experience
in backend services for commercial software engineering products. We
also look for someone able to work flexibly and independently in an
agile, fast changing environment. Team builder, hard worker and fast
learner. We would love to onboard someone with knowledge on all of some
of the following: Python, JAVA, Postgres, MongoDB, AWS, Clean Code,clean
Architecture, TDD, Github, agile methodologies
Our backend technical stack:
- Api: Django 1.9 ( python 3.4) y springboot 2.0.4 (java-microservices)
- DB: Postgres, MongoDB
- AWS: Elasticbeanstalk, EKS(Kubernates), RDS
- Other: Rabitmq,Kibana-ElasticSearch, Dockers
