way property is bought and sold, and we are looking for a talented
software engineer to join us on our journey.
We
use technology to innovate on everything from our customer facing
automatic valuation model to the tools our team uses internally and are
looking for someone to help us develop the foundations we already have
into an industry-defining product.

founding successful start-ups like GoCardless and Songkick and
backgrounds from McKinsey and the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge.
Requirements
The role
On a day-to-day basis you will:
- Develop
the core consumer facing product, using Ruby, Python and JavaScript
via iteration based on customer feedback and metrics.
- Develop tools to support our internal operations team.
- Work closely with our designer to implement a modern and high quality front end experience.
The ideal candidate
We think you'll probably:
- Be passionate about technology and have experience of building products for the web (ideally using Ruby or Python).
- Care deeply about building reliable and well-tested systems whilst striving to build products used by millions of people.
- Want
to work in an early stage start-up environment. This requires
flexibility and focus plus a willingness to do whatever needs to be
done to complete the job.
Things which would be useful, but not required:
- Experience with front end development, including client side JavaScript.
- Experience with Linux system administration.
- Experience as part of an engineering team at a fast growing company.
