Test Engineer:
The data security landscape is constantly shifting. Hackers are always seeking new vulnerabilities in systems and solution have therefore become more technical and complex. This has adversely affected the users experience. As a Test Engineer you are a key member of the Product Success team, ensuring the quality of our software.
Responsibilities:
In the role of Test Engineer you are responsible for the preparation of test specifications, preparation of master and detailed test plans and test execution;
You will report your test results to the Product Success team, who is responsible for all the IT development within SmartLockr;
In your test plans/preparation you set the norm for the entire test process set. This consists out of functional testing, system testing, security testing, user acceptance testing and regression testing (automated/manual).
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent study;
3+ years in a Software Engineer or Software Engineer in Test capacity;
You have solid programming experience in any modern object-oriented programming language such as C#;
You have knowledge about automation frameworks;
You are careful, you can easy emphasize with the end-user and you will test our software in all areas: technical and functional;
You have superior analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills;
You put together test scripts based on the design (visual, functional and technical) and will test the intermediate deliverables and final delivery very accurate;
You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, communicate concisely and clearly, and be willing to drive quality into the development process; Fluent in both Dutch and English both verbally and written.
