With solid growth and an ever-expanding team of experts, Payvision is looking to grow its IT Department with a hardworking, enthusiastic and results driven System Administrator. As a System Administrator, you will play a key role in the IT Operations team. You will be part of a team that runs the Payvision and Acapture ICT office infrastructure. Our core technologies are Microsoft and VMWare. You will have an excellent understanding of both areas. We’ve got a lot of other technology in place but you can pick that up on the job or with training as required. If you have experience in the Fintech space that would also be cool, but it’s not essential. We’re growing fast and you will enjoy making stuff happen with colleagues from across the world.

Tasks:

  • Contribute to building and maintaining an industry-leading platform
  • Proactively work on further maintaining the reliability of our office infrastructure and workplaces
  • Maintaining and developing your technical skills
  • Share your knowledge with team members
  • Communicating with end users, technical and non-technical
  • Take ownership of projects:
    • Extend/upgrade existing systems
    • Analyze the requirements
    • Design and build solutions

 

We request:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in ICT (or similar)
  • 5 years of relevant work/internship experience
  • Good knowledge of VMWare ESX
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft technologies, Office 365, PC and Servers
  • Experience creating and deploying workstation images and packages for large environments
  • Experience managing and maintaining MS Active Directory for a global organisation
  • Experience managing databases like MS SQL is a plus
  • Experience with ITIL and accompanying ITSM tooling
  • Very good spoken and written English (the working language)
