As Senior VP Product (m/f) you will be bringing together product,
tech and business at Coya and lead the strategy, establishment and
further development of the digital product range.
YOUR ROLE:
- Own the company's product strategy and manage the product roadmap until the go to market and afterwards
- Build and maintain a scalable organizational setup
- Collaboration in the continuous generation of ideas for product
releases and expansion and evaluate feasibility of new products
- Make sure that customer centricity is included in all levels of product development
- Measure and analyze the performance of product initiatives against ROI, KPIs and other metrics
- Co-manage platform releases
- Streamline product operations and IT operations
- Apply agile methods, especially Scrum, to product development and coach the team on that
- Directly manage a team of three, lead and mentor your team to help them excel and meet their individual goals
- Closely collaborate with IT and and technically lead and
coordinate the Scrum and interdisciplinary feature teams, consisting of
e.g. product, tech, insurance specialists, customer service
- Work closely together with the Management Board and join the
Management meetings for strategic decisions on the company’s roadmap
- Represent Coya
- Report directly to the Management Board
YOUR PROFILE:
- 8+ years of experience in a matchable position, preferably in a
regulated industry so you are familiar with the appropriate
characteristics
- Strong understanding of complex, technological products, ideally with engineering background
- Able to take strategic decisions, but still be hands-on to support the team in fast execution and delivery
- Startup product leader with a track record of shaping and executing strategies of disruptive products and services
- Extensive experience in web/mobile product management and familiar
with not self-explanatory products and how to translate in an
understandable customer language
- You are a good communicator, creative, out of the box-thinker and strongly solution-oriented
- Expert in managing product teams and agile product development processes
- Outstanding people management skills and experience in leading
teams of 3+ employees including motivating and providing meaningful
feedback to ensure growth and development of your employees
- Fluent in English
