OpenSeneca is a new local democracy start-up launched at Mobile World Congress 2016.
We are building a global citizen participation platform that helps
people and their leaders discover, discuss and decide on the issues they
care about.
Our goal, no less, is to become the global standard for open data.

Who we're looking for
We are looking for an outstanding user experience designer to help build, improve and perfect our Information Systems.
Responsibilities:
-Our Systems Administration department is in charge of installing,
supporting and maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure and
especially the necessary IT platforms that each of our projects rely on.
-The job includes responsibility both on internal systems as well as on our SaaS customer facing systems.
-The job represents a hands on opportunity to participate in the
design and continuous improvement of the architecture of the company
products, and as well includes the day to day management, configuration
and monitoring of those systems.
Qualifications:
Essential
-Strong Unix/Linux administrator background and experience
-Scripting (e.g. Bash, Python, Perl, Ruby). Deployment automation (e.g. puppet)
-Understanding of common IT System management best practices.
-Fluent in creating IT documentation
-Working knowledge of English
-Devops mind set
Beneficial
-Ideally University degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, -Telecommunications or equivalent.
-Working knowledge of Databases (PostgresSQL, MySQL, Oracle)
-Knowledge of Cloud computing (common players)
-Ideally some basic knowledge of PHP, Java, Jenkins, GIT, Redis, RabbitMQ, GlusterFS
