Senior Software Product Manager en Amsterdam

As Senior Software Product Manager you will be responsible for implementing a product marketing strategy for the organizations products and services to meet established sales or market share targets, and serve as the organizations central point of coordination for all software related development. You will report to the CTO.

Main duties & responsibilities:

• Define the product (software) strategy of EV-Box and ensure that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals
• Gather and transform business requirements into a successful product strategy
• Create and maintain the product strategy and roadmap
• Gather and prioritize product and customer requirements, define the product vision and design with external partner, and work closely with the internal organization to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met
• Manage the software product line life cycle from new concept & design to strategic planning to tactical activities
• Responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle
• Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and prospects
• Define product/market segmentation and price positioning
• Determine ROI of products and features in order to achieve the business goals
• Create, improve and manage product literature/documentation and content
• Support the marketing & sales department
• Formalizing business requirements in the form of user stories with clearly defined objectives and acceptance criteria
• Managing and prioritizing product backlog including backlog grooming session with the software team
• Close cooperation with the software team to deliver highest quality products
• Defining highest quality UI and UX by close cooperation with the UX/UI designers

Qualifications:

• Relevant Bachelor/Master degree
• 5+ years relevant work experience in a Product Manager role in preferably one or more of the following: EV Charging solutions, electrical hardware products, or other
• Proven track record for driving new product capabilities from initial concept/design to successful delivery and market adoption
• Experience in gathering and transforming business requirements into a successful product strategy
• Experience in high-level business discussions

Knowledge:

• Preferable: EV Charging/Green Energy/software industry
• Automotive market, its competitors and trends
• Software development processes

Skills:

• Release Management, and experience in planning, creating a roadmap and releasing subsequent version of software products
• Knowledge of software architectures, computer languages
• proven ability and experience translating customer requests into software features
• proven ability and experience translating software features into tangible benefits for product marketing communication
• Organizational skills
• Verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
