Fluttr is looking for a Senior Web Development Engineer who is passionate about creating amazing platforms.
As a key member of the Fluttr Development team you will have the opportunity to build our frontend platform and manage the frontend team.
You must be willing to insist on the highest standards for quality, maintainability, and performance. You will ensure that engineering best practices are followed and that software is designed to be responsive, reliable and maintainable.
Responsibilities:
Contribute best-in-class programming skills to develop highly innovative, consumer-facing web platforms.
Write clean, maintainable code and perform peer code-reviews.
Work with other team members to investigate design approaches, prototype new technology and evaluate technical feasibility
Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high quality software against aggressive schedules
Establish architectural principles, select design patterns and then mentor team members on their appropriate application
Help define and implement standards and promote best practices for the Frontend development team.
Analyze and optimize applications to maximize speed and scale.

Basic Qualifications
• 4+ years professional software development experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript Framework, and general Web 2.0 techniques
• Proficient in at least one object-oriented programming language (such as Java, C++, phyton, ..)
Preferred Qualifications
• Deep understanding of web development and best practices
• Track record of building and delivering mission critical, 24x7 production software systems
• Working knowledge of REST
• Working knowledge of common Internet technologies (e.g. HTTP, HTML, JavaScript, AJAX)
• Experience with client-side Javascript frameworks like React.js and modules like : Redux
