We
are currently recruiting for a number of experienced software
developers, with both Front End and Back End focuses, as well as native
app development.
Reporting to the VP of Technology, you’ll be part of a new team working on a new product that will define a whole new category.This is an opportunity to get in at the start of a new product – a proper greenfield space with innovation at the heart.
We’re
creating a JavaScript stack, leveraging React / Node.js / mircoservices
/ Google Cloud Platform. Tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, Redux,
PostgreSQL, NoSQL, Webpack, and Sass will form a key part of what we
build. Our pragmatic Agile setup will drive us to invest in continuous
deployment, TDD / BDD, a lab-like environment, and the collaboration
tools needed to deliver incredible software and applications. We’ve set
out to create a best in class development team for a best in class
product.
Requirements:
= Experience in JavaScript development (Front End, Back End, or Full Stack)
= Fans of microservices, and independently deployable modules with an understanding of the Open API specification.
= A solid understanding of what quality looks like, with hands-on experience.
= A thorough understanding of the JavaScript ecosystem, including tools and services
= A track record of building consumer software / application products
= Experience using data and analytics to lead decision making
= Experience
collaborating – with technology and product people (on things like
DevOps, architecture, and infrastructure, etc) and with non-technical
colleagues alike
= An energy and commitment that enjoys working with ambitious specifications, timelines, feature sets, and growth / scale
= A natural problem solver – always keen to break something and put it back together
= The
type of personality that thrives in a fast paced, and often pivoting,
atmosphere where new ideas can change everything all at once on an
almost daily basis
= A champion of Agile, Kanban and Scrum
Nice to haves:

= Experience working – and integrating – with travel partners
