Senior Front-End JavaScript Developer en Berlin

Wix.com is a leading website development and hosting platform with over 60 million users worldwide.

We are looking for an experienced, passionate JavaScript Front-End Engineer to join our newly-established Editor team in Berlin.

You will work on the next generation of our website Editor, Wix's main product. Using cutting-edge technologies and methodologies you’ll improve the core of the software with an eye towards the front­end and graphics style. You’ll be a key member of this team, shaping its character and providing guidance to the new engineers. • Develop new and future front­end features of the website Editor with a strong graphics focus
• Design, write and test code
• Participate in ongoing code review

• 4+ years of demonstrated software development experience
• Strong understanding of JavaScript, including functional programming, prototypal inheritance and common patterns
• Advanced knowledge of web standards: HTML, CSS (if you are familiar with SVG and WebGL, even better)
• Deep familiarity with architecting front­end systems
• Independent, fast-learner, problem-solver, team-player

Bonus Points:

• Experience with computer graphics or game development
• Long term experience with other programming languages
