About the job:
Ring4 is looking for an Android Engineer to build a world-class mobile messaging and telephony app.
You should have experience building and architecting Android
applications that are easy to maintain and extend with a high level of
reliability.
This full-time role is located in San Francisco, remote applications can be considered.
Responsibilities:
Architect, develop and maintain an Android application, set to become a flagship in the telephony/messaging industry
Implement beautiful user interfaces and write clean, maintainable code.
Rapidly create prototypes, synthesize feedback and develop a production quality application
Implement a QA process and work closely with product to release changes
Collaborate with a product manager, designer and our CTO who has conceived the backend
Maintain a thoughtful commit history using git and conduct peer reviews using GitHub

challenging deadlines.

Qualifications:
BS, Or MS in Computer Science.
2+ years of recent Android development experience (pls do not apply with no experience).
Skills:

Skilled in Android development and php.
Demonstrated UX and UI sensibilities.
Experience with material design
Strong communication and collaboration.
Ability to work quickly and independently with minimal oversight.
Experience with source control (git).
English fluent.
Aptitude/interest for Agile processes .
Bonus points
You have worked with VOIP and knows SIP.
Experience with WebRTC.
Experience with Sketch/Photoshop
