YOUR ROLE
As Senior Android Developer you will take the lead for all Android features of one of three feature teams.
- Build new features and improve existing ones of our N26 Android App
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- You will work closely with our product manager, UI/UX designers and backend engineers
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
YOUR PROFILE
- 4+ years experience in mobile application development (Android, iOs and/or Blackberry)
- 2+ years experience building Android applications and strong coding abilities with Java and Android SDK
- Experience in understanding large and complex code bases, including
API design techniques to help keep them clean and maintainable.
- B.Sc. or M.S. Computer Science or relevant work experience
- Proficient in the following technologies: Java language and related
frameworks, Multi-Threading and memory management specific to mobile
devices, understanding of caching mechanisms
- Language skills: English full professional proficiency
