GASTROFIX has developed a revolutionary, cloud-based POS system for Apple iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. The cash register covers the entire hospitality industry, which includes restaurants, bars, canteens, hotels, bakeries and franchise chains. Gastrofix has more than 140 employees and has already sold 12,000+ POS systems in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Norway and continues to expand.

We are growing fast and looking for you on a full-time basis for our headquarter in Berlin.

Your job

• Software development for test automation in Python
• Development and extension of our test frameworks for automated testing of iOS, web and server applications
• Implementation of drop-in replacement mocks for third party applications and interfaces
• Contribute to the larger team by supporting our ongoing improvements in CI/CD and devops

Your profile

• BSc / MSc in computer science or similar qualification
• 3+ years of work experience as a software engineer or QA engineer test automation
• Good understanding of testing fundamentals
• Strong development skills in Python
• Enjoying working and communicating in a team
• Experience working with version control systems like git
• Solid English skills

Optional skills and experience

• Mastering other programming languages (e.g. Javascript, Java, Objective-C)
• Experience working with test frameworks and tools (e.g. Selenium, Nightwatch, Appium, Nosetests, Cucumber, Gauge or Robot)
• Fundamental IP network knowledge
• Skills using Linux and MacOS
• Scripting in Bash / Shell
• Understanding of iOS mobile apps
