LINDERA is first in digitalizing motion analysis, to offer an
objective, systematic and mass ready tool. With AI, LINDERA has managed
to calculate a 3D picture of the movement with a normal smartphone
camera. Additionally, physical risk factors and living conditions are
derived from a mental test. The technology will be used in geriatric
medicine first to prevent seniors from falling and to connect the caring
team through data science. Fall prevention is mandatory and helps to
reduce more than 50% of fall related costs, but it is
currently based on a subjective assessment. Furthermore, LINDERA is
actively developing adjacent segments that will benefit from the digital
motion analysis technology, e.g. Rehabilitation, Orthopaedics.
We are looking for a technology leader to best align business and our
data science core by implementing a technology strategy to drive the
success of this disruptive care startup.
THE ROLE:
The clear goal is to develop into the role of CTO within 6-12 months.
#1 Develop to CTO: Receive guidance from our seasoned Chief Data
Scientist, our COO, from the Rheingau EcoSystem and external sources to
develop in all relevant areas
#2 Scale the product for growth: Design and implement an IT
architecture, that is ready for scaling our complex algorithm for
international growth to millions of users
#3 Build Great Talents & Team: You hire, develop and coach your
own team (currently 4 people) and create a working environment for a
sustainable and healthy company culture focusing on customer
satisfaction
#4 Win in the Health Care Market: Drive continuous product
improvement. Identify appropriate technology platforms to drive growth,
profitability and company value
THE REQUIREMENTS:
Experience with software best practices in:
3+ years of both mobile app and web software development experience.
Solid understanding of the full development life cycle and knowledge of designing patterns, e.g. restful applications
Orchestrating mobile apps and backend applications, and scaling them to millions of users
Experience with relational databases (E.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) and NoSQL databases (E.g. MongoDB, CouchDB, Neo4j)
Relevant technology experience and eagerness to learn:
Must: Mobile and web applications; REST
Must: fluent in script language like Python (or Ruby or Perl)
Must: fluent in Linux/unix, bash (or other shell language)
Must: agile project development
Would be a plus: R, SQL, JavaScript, Node.js
Would be a plus: Hadoop (or other big data file system)
Strategic vision and structured thinking;
Data-driven with analytical and communications skills
Excitement about the eHealth / care industry
Fluent in German, and English
