We are Privalia, the nº1 online fashion retailer in the countries where we operate. We are currently looking for a talented JavaScript Developer.

This person will work on challenging projects, such as building the new platform with new technologies such as ReactJS, redux, react-router, Server Side Rendering, NodeJS, Webpack2, etc...

Tasks & Activities:

Estimate development tasks, pointing out risks, required provisions and limitations in the process. Perform regular code reviews with the team. Participate in merge requests of other team mates.

Work in an agile mindset with MVP approaches that fulfill future general requirements.

Develop frontend solutions that scale well in the future and that can be fitted in a microfrentend echosystem.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High level in JavaScript development and JavaScript Design Patterns

  • Scopes, Closures and Memory management

  • Knowledge of REST principles

  • Data oriented development skills (analytics, A/B testing, etc.)

  • Experience developing JavaScript TDD / BDD with Jest, Enzyme, Mocha, Chai

  • Experience with React.js, redux and react-router, ES6

Nice to Have:

  • Scopes, Closures and Memory management

  • SASS or LESS

  • Node.js and Express Framework

  • Server Side Rendering with react and react-router

  • Webpack
