Surance is looking for product-aware iOS engineer who is a thoughtful, responsible and passionate builder and appreciates good product design and user experience. We’re looking for someone who is not only well versed in iOS development, but also has a strong understanding of good UX and isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty in backend code.

WHAT YOU’LL ACTUALLY DO.

• We are building an iOS solution from the ground up. You will have the opportunity to own new features from day one, work on brand new iOS functionality, contribute to the design process, and build an iOS experience that is second to none.
  
• You’ll work with designers and other engineers to build, and launch products and features that will have immediate impact to the user experience at Surance.
  
• You'll balance rapid prototyping with production-grade code, and as an early employee, you’ll refine best practices and lead by example.
  

WHO YOU ARE.

• Experience shipping one or more iOS apps, ideally currently published in the AppStore.
  
• A love of building software, demonstrated through interesting side projects, open source contributions, or other involvement in the tech community.
  
• You build with the end user in mind, and you’re comfortable with self-directed learning and teaching on the job.
  
• Deep understanding of UIKit, Foundation, Xcode and other related technologies. Experience in Swift is great, but not a requirement.
