We are currently launching an exciting new venture in Spain and are
looking for a Head of Engineering with both deep technical knowledge and
a strong managerial background. The successful candidate will take 100%
ownership of the tech side of the business, will build a tech team from
scratch and play a key role in the success of the venture.
Qualifications
- Have 5+ years of demonstrated results in Software
Development, Architecture and (Agile) project management, preferably
with LAMP (e.g. PHP, MySQL, Zend Framework) and knowledge of relevant
trends/technology
- Be familiar with high scalability-focused environments and have an entrepreneurial mindset
- Be a hands-on leader with drive for action; e-commerce & marketplace experience (in international environment) is a plus
- Be capable of leading and motivating a team
- Be fluent in English, fluency in Spanish is a plus
