Fullstack Developer en Madrid

GeoDB is building a decentralized protocol to access private location data under a big data paradigm using blockchain technology.

Our protocol is based on an hybrid proposal in which we use an adapted open source blockchain solution to store location information and an Ethereum token to support the economic value of the operations.

As an open project focused on distributed ledger technologies we want to be totally transparent, which makes it necessary to make public all kinds of resources such as documentation, verification and validation tools or block explorers among others things. In addition, all this process will be carried out following strict deployment, security and development protocols.

We are looking for a full-stack developer to optimize and develop this wide range of tools and help us build bridges with the community. If you consider yourself a versatile developer capable of learning on the fly and you feel identified with the values of an open source project this job opportunity is for you.

We offer you a permanent contract and a competitive salary. The role is based in Madrid but with a strong teleworking internal strategy.

Mandatory

• Experience in full-stack development under any technological stack..

• Experience in GNU/Linux server administration.

• Good level of English.

Desirable

• Experience in the development of mobile applications.

• Experience in supercomputing administration.

• Queue systems, parallel processing systems, big data systems, … .

• Good knowledge of virtualization solutions.

• Docker, KVM, vmware or others.

• Good knowledge in nlockchain/DLT area.

• Good knowledge in big data area.

• Good knowledge of geolocation systems.

• Experience in the creation of didactic materials.

• Blogs, articles, papers, etc.

• Active participation in forums or social networks.

• Experience in the organization of workshops or events.
