Description
We are looking for a talented Full-Stack developer to join us on our
journey while we are going live in the UK. This a unique opportunity to
play an important role in a fast-growing startup, while gaining exposure
to cutting edge technologies working hand in hand with Imperial
researchers and the founding team.
You will be joining a cross-functional team of talented engineers, designers and product owners from Imperial College London
Key Responsibilities include
- Driving both product and technical improvements through rapid
prototyping of new features in line with the long term company
objectives
- You will plan, design and build intelligent back-end solutions
(ie. payment portal and custom dashboards) and bind these solutions to
our front-end infrastructure
- Explore other potential technologies - ie. blockchain for
transparency and payments - while communicating your ideas and successes
to the wider team
- Collaborate with the data science team to drive improvements on the ML/analytics pipeline
Qualifications
- Back-end: Server-side web development (NodeJS)
- Knowledge of databases (SQL, MySQL)
- Micro-services, REST APIs
- Accustomed to DevOps technologies (git, docker, CI/CD)
- Passion for technology and a strong inclination for learning about and playing with the latest technologies
Bonus for
- Front end is not a requirement but a plus (React)
- Experience with online payment stack (Stripe, Paypal)
- Python based modules and Natural Language Processing
- Past experience developing and deploying products
