Hi, we’re oneUp. We build startups with emerging technology for big
corporates. We have developed an integrated approach which we call
Startup Thinking. We help our clients with everything from coming up
with new ideas, validating and testing them with real consumers, to
creating a system for your organization to innovate all the time. Next
to our day-to-day operations we focus on developing most promising
emerging technologies in the oneUp Lab.

overview of how everything works together and you are able to help in
any part of the project. You find the best ways to implement
functionality for great performance, considering both frontend, backend,
and the many tools available.
Your tasks
Implement bright and shiny designs into real functional app and websites
Have a good understanding of modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue) … and manage their state
Build an API and setup a database so that the app can actually do some fun dynamic stuff
And if SQL doesn't cut it, add some NoSQL too
Make your life easy, deploy automatically
When stuff goes bang, take a coffee (no sugar) and figure out what Heroku or AWS is doing
Requirements
Required
Strong NodeJS / Javascript skills
Frontend capabilities for application interface (HTML/CSS3)
Experience with JavaScript frameworks like Meteor, React-Native and/or Angular
Backend experience with databases; NoSQL, DHT, MongoDB, Key-value stores
Linux or OSX (recommended), no Windows.
Good English (and preferably some Dutch)
Desired
Background in computer science
Cryptographic understanding (public/private key, hashing) is a plus
Essential DevOps skills (unix & cloud) & experience with development / deployment tools
GitHub profile with demonstrable portfolio
Non-Technical skills
Agile methodology: scrum / kanban
Familiar with open source software development, projects and teams
Self-educational / eager to learn / not afraid to ask questions
Able to work with remote teams / strong communication skills
