For
our engineering team in Amsterdam we are looking for an experienced and
talented Front-end engineer, who feels right at home in a fast-paced
environment. You quickly grasp new technologies and are always looking
for new better ways to solve complex problems. You enjoy making
beautiful products with an amazing user experience. You will get the
opportunity to work on a product that is in its infancy and can drive
the direction of the current and future products.
Responsibilities:
- Build user facing features and interfaces
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Automating cross browser and cross platform testing
What you can expect to work on:
- Architect and implement new features for the secfi.com option exercise platform
- Conceptualize and implement a toolsuite that enables other startup employees to become shareholders in their companies
- Create automated financial analysis tools that inform business development in their investment decision making process
- Optimize our infrastructure for continuous deployment, continuous integration and testing
- Investigate
opportunities to incorporate new technologies such as Tensorflow and
Progressive Web Apps together with (technical) stakeholders
- Actually work with these new technologies!
Requirements:
- A great team player and a fun person to work with
- BS/MS in Computer Science or similar
- Deep knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Demonstrable experience with React.js or highly experienced in similar JavaScript frameworks
Plusses:
- Unit and/or integration testing
- Experience with Material-UI
- Knowledge of mobile development, either Android, iOS or both
- Knowledge of Python (Django)
