LIQID is growing its international business and seeking a
dynamic Senior Full- stack developer who can, perspectively, set up a
new development team in Madrid. You will be onboarded to our systems,
processes and teams in Berlin for some months and then sent to Madrid
for establishing the local development team there. We can, however,
currently not exactly say when this will be the case.
Our Tech Stack:
- Frontend: React, Redux
- Backend (as is): Ruby on Rails,
- Backend (to be): Node.js
- Database: PostgreSQL, Redis (Caching)
- DevOps: Google Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes
Responsibilities:
- Working as full-stack developer on our premises in Berlin until being sent to Madrid. Focus is on Node.js
- When in Madrid:
- Responsible for managing a cross-functional (Frontend, Backend) team of motivated and talented developers
- Collaborate and being passionate about knowledge sharing with teams in Berlin
- Love to be goal oriented and independent working
- Hands-on leader who is excited to create amazing feature
- Teach, mentor and provide an open work environment for everyone on the team
Required skills & experiences:
- Completed university degree in Computer Science
- +5 years proven developer experience, preferably from tech companies
- +3 years proven team leader experience
- Hands on experience on Node.js essential, preferably also on Ruby on Rails, React
- Full-stack developer to lead both Front- and Backend Teams
- Cloud-Infrastructures with Google Cloud
- Experience in drafting software-architectures
- Experience working in a remote set-up, organized according to agile working
- principles
- Desire to work on strategic and disruptive products
- Excellent time management, prioritisation and judgment skills
with a greatpositive attitude, high energy and focused attention to
detail
- Fluency in English and Spanish is essential
