THE POSITION
We are looking for an DevOps Engineer to
facilitate maximum productivity of the development team through
automation, system administration and managing cloud infrastructure.
Additional duties will be to support our internal infrastructure and
employee hardware/software. Join our team in Barcelona and work in an
environment that spans many technology stacks, including IT software,
hardware and networking!
ResponsibilitiesContinually improve DevOps tools, processes, and procedures
Build, maintain, and scale infrastructure for Production and Dev environments
Work closely with the development team to understand automation needs
Manage internal infrastructure and assist with hardware/software issues
Basic Qualifications Strong knowledge of Linux systems (Ubuntu, Debian)
Experience with container systems (Docker, Kubernetes)
High level of scripting ability (bash, python)
Implemented automation/monitoring tools (Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet, Zabbix)
Understanding networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, Email, HTTP, SSL, and TCP/IP protocols
Excellent
verbal and written communication skills (including the ability to
explain technical terminology to non-technical users)
Preferred Qualifications AWS, GCE, and Azure infrastructure administration
Enterprise support experience with Windows, Mac or Linux system support and troubleshooting
Network and Telecom skills
Data cabling and/or compute facility experience
