As Development Engineer Embedded Systems you will develop new EV-Box
Firmware for electronics within multiple projects. You will work
together with the product owner EV-Box firmware (embedded systems). You
will provide third line support on EV-Box products and training when
required. You will work on the overall product development strategy. You
will report directly to the CTO.
Responsibilities:
- Develops new EV-Box firmware for electronics within multiple
projects. Works together with product owner EV-Box firmware (embedded
systems).
- Deliver 2nd line technical development input
- Register, give feedback and follow up on (technical) incidents and technical support issues related to EV-Box products
- Perform deep analyses of an (technical) inquiries
- Answer inquiries of and provide technical information to internal staff
- Support and guide suppliers in electronics and firmware development issues
- Test new electronics setup’s and firmware releases
- Develop testing protocols for firmware
- Guide Technical Support Engineers on new electronics setup’s and firmware releases
- Support in the documentation and production of manuals and assembly instructions
- Judge guarantee issues and questions related to firmware
- Be an active member of the development team
- Process customer, market and technological information to improve product development
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelors degree in a technical field
- Minimum 3 years experience in an embedded systems development environment
- Proven track record in succesfull firmware delivery for commercial systems/consumer products
- Experience in the EV industry, automotive or electrical industry is preferred and are a plus
Knowledge:
- Embedded systems , firmware and software
- Experience in Microchip development
- Data encryption and security principles
- M2M communication standards and platforms
- Electronics standards and principles are a plus
Skills:
- General computer skills in Office
- Solid programming experience in Embedded C
- Basic project management skills is a plus
- Verbal and written communication skills in English and Dutch – Additional languages are a plus
