We are now seeking a J2EE Engineer to join our
Platform and Services Delivery team in Madrid. We help
governments,national printers and integrators design and roll-out secure
documents and robust digital identity solutions.
A week in the life of a J2EE Engineer:
- You will participate in the design, implementation, security and
validation of applications within a project team structure, inaccordance
with institutionalized processes and delivery standards.- You will
analyze customer requirements, perform feasibility study, provide
technical proposal, estimate workload andcontribute to project
requirements specification.- You will collaborate in the documentation
related to these activities.- You will be part of an agile team.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- To succeed at this job, you must have: good knowledge of Java and
J2EE, frameworks and libraries (Spring, Hibernate,JPA, JDBC,
JSP/Servlet). Working knowledge of second programming language C#
(C/CC+, Python).- It would be preferred if you have knowledge of Web
technologies (HTTP, HTML, XML, REST, SOAP, JavaScript, jQuery,JSON),
applications server ( such as Jboss, GlassFish, WebSphere…), database
servers - SQL (MS SQL, MySQL),Oracle (PL/SQL) experience in Source
Control Systems, Continuous Integration Systems and Unit Testing
Frameworks.- You must be fluent in English.- We would like someone to
join our team who is customer-oriented, quick learner and self-starter,
able to work in a fastpacedenvironment, a team-player, analytical and a
problem-solver.- You must have a Degree in Computer Science,
Telecommunications or a related field.- We are looking for someone with
at least 3 to 5 years of experience in Software Development.- We are
looking for someone who is able to travel 15% of time.
