Adok is seeking a top-tier candidate for an engineer role to join the
Computer Vision R&D team. The project involves real time image
processing and computer vision algorithms.
The successful candidate will participate in the Research &
Development of innovative computer vision and image processing solutions
to be embedded in the Adok products to improve the experience of Adok
users.
About Adok
Adok is a French startup, based in Paris, created on 2015, focusing
on the development of new generation of computers that transform any
surfaces (tables, desks, walls, partitions...) into touch screens.
TEAM
We are 20 young and motivated Adokers and we are growing. A
hardware, an embedded and a vision team are contributing in the Adok
products. The Vision team has 3 CV Engineers who are interesting on high
performance programming, computer vision and intuitive dashboards.
Missions
Analyze state-of-the-art algorithms
Propose, prototype solutions that fit the performance requirements
and the constraints related to both planning and hardware resources.
Design and develop the computer vision new features and optimize (memory consumption and processing time) existing ones;
Extensively test solutions (objective and subjective performance
evaluations) in order to analyze, diagnose bugs and find solutions;
Design and develop performance metrics and tools used for the integration and the tuning of the vision solution
Interface with Hardware and Software Engineers working with sensors
PROFILE :
have an engineer or master or doctoral degree in Computer Science,
Robotics Engineering, electrical engineering, or related subjects
Strong familiarity and research experience in computer vision and
image processing (Minimum of 2 years of experience) Skills such as:
Image morphology, feature tracking, photogrammetry, epipolar geometry,
optical flow, camera calibration and image stitching are strongly
appreciated.
Required skills:
Strong background in computer vision, both theoretical and practical;
Successful experience in real-time algorithms proposal, prototyping, design and development;
Highly proficient in software engineering using C++ / OpenCV;
Working knowledge of Version control tools (Git) and cross compiling tools (cmake);
Strong technical English language practice;
Strong interpersonal communication skills;
Autonomous and rigorous work management;
Bonus skills:
Experience with parallel programming;
Experience on Artificial intelligence (machine learning), image segmentation and semantics
Experience on embedded systems
