product development and engineering team. Someone who’s led a team

including establishing best practices and hiring new team members.

Job Description:
Managing a small team of software engineers and developers, you’ll be
required to maintain and introduce best practices. Manage the day to
day workload of the team with daily standups. You’ll be expected to meet
clients and help with some technical sales as well as translating
client requirements through to engineering.
You’ll also be expected to advise the CEO on technical strategy for
the business, having a keen involvement in this young but ambitious
businesses direction.
Prior experience with auctions or live digital events is a bonus.
Required Qualifications Ideally, someone who’s a great coder
-Mid-level, with minimum 5 years of software engineering or product
managing experience. You should have shipped at least one mobile
application.
-Expert knowledge of our stack (Swift, Node.js, JavaScript and PHP).
Comfortable working with mobile applications from a technical
standpoint.
-Ability to write clean, well-tested and well-documented code.
-Familiarity with best software engineering practices such as testing, version control, continuous integration/ delivery.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.
-Independent thinker. The ideal candidate will be able to take charge
of all aspects of a project, from requirements analysis to prototyping
and deployment to production.
-A drive to master new technologies and techniques.
-Strong problem solving skills with an emphasis on product
development. We focus on delivering value to customers rather than
micro-optimising models.
-A degree in a numerical field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, etc.
-A track record of deploying or maintaining production systems
-Knowledge with other programming languages, such ReactNative, Java, etc is a bonus
-Familiar with Amazon Web Services.
