About the Job

We are Insikt Intelligence and our passion is building easy to use yet scientifically complex tools for helping Law Enforcement Agencies gain vital intelligence from digital sources data applying Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning techniques to live data streams. Insikt’s mission is to harness our technology for the good of society by putting tools with the potential to prevent crime and save lives in the hands of LEAs who struggle to find meaning in the data deluge produced by social media.Natural Language Processing (making computers understand the written word as a human would) is Insikt’s scientific core, and we have developed proprietary algorithms for highly accurate semantic analysis of massive amounts of data from social media in real time. Our specific background in analysis of social media content makes us the perfect partner for law enforcement agencies looking to extract real insight from social media by means of cutting-edge semantic science.

Your role

  • Generate a business development plan for our products and services from scratch
  • Generate new business opportunities with prospective clients by targeting all verticals in various markets
  • Take ownership of the full sales cycle from generating leads, demonstrating the product and services offering, pricing, negotiation and closing
  • Build a strong pipeline of relevant opportunities to deliver against sales targets and ensure KPIs are met
  • Build and maintain an in-depth understanding of our capabilities by working closely with our management team
  • Attend events to network and create leads

Requirements

  • 3 years + experience within a similar role
  • Knowledge of the data analysis and/or security and/or law enforcement industry is desirable
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets in business development / new business environment
  • Excellent selling skills built on trust and reliability
  • Proven ability to identify and develop new business
  • Proven understanding of sales metrics and to use them to build and plan for success
  • Strong, repeatable and reliable sales methodology to plan and develop sales
  • Excellent negotiation skills to secure profitable contracts
  • Native or very high level of spoken and written English
  • Willingness and ability to work in startup environment is a must
