As a Verse Web / UX Designer
you will create delightful software for millions of users around the
world. You’ll own the user experience and web design for one or more
projects and tackle tough design and product problems alongside other
world-class engineers. Our team uses the latest web technologies and
we’ll need your expertise to keep us at the cutting-edge by rapidly
developing, fast, and secure experiences for our users.
What you’ll do:
- Design and conduct user research to evaluate new and current products
- Design internal and external tools to support the creation of Verse experiences
- Analyze, map, and optimize user flow
- Design quantitative studies, including experiments and surveys
- Conduct qualitative studies, including field observation and interviews, remote and in-person usability studies
- Identify and explore new opportunities before they make it onto the drawing board
- Work closely with designers and engineers to define interface and user requirements
- Demonstrate an ability to triangulate different types of data points to answer strategic questions conclusively
- Adapt and innovate on research practices to meet team needs under the tight timeframes of a rapidly growing company
- Synthesize and communicate research findings to inform business decisions
- Own features and experiences from initial concept to released product
- Develop effective remote working relationship with stakeholders around the globe
- Develop
new approaches to complex interface and UX problems, and convey these
designs in the form of presentations, prototypes, and design
specifications
- Design and prototype innovative and visually stunning interfaces that reflect the Verse personality
- Learn about Verse customers in countries around Europe
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience designing interfaces for web and mobile
- Experience designing consumer-facing software and corporate management software
- Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other front-end technologies
- Experience designing high quality graphic assets in Sketch, Illustrator, and Photoshop
- Someone who can design and prototype UI for mobile platforms (iOS or Android) using tools like Framer.JS
- Experience working on task-tracking and bug-tracking systems
- Outstanding communication skills
