A Day in the life of VP of Sales
Attract, identify, and close sales leads, in particular close custom partnership dealflow
Hit the ground running. “Start selling on day 1” is your mentality, don't wait for things like documentation and CRM to be optimised to your liking
As a Fintech company, we expect to mostly sell to the traditional financial sector, meaning we need you to have a proven network in the European financial sector and the ability to sell to banks/HNWI/and family offices
Overachieve in B2C sales and greatly overachieve in B2B sales in order to lead the companies scalability
Be a leader who leads through example
Lead the (SAAS) sales strategy, measure and analyze key performance metrics, drive pipeline growth, account penetration, and market share in regions
Recruit and hire your own team with budget from your own incoming sales
Build, educate, and support members of your team to deliver excellent performance, provide them with relevant tactics and strategies, support key opportunities, and manage their expectations
Manage and maintain long-term business relationships, shape the common mindset (FOMO) and establish new investor habits with features that get them hooked
Stay up to date with industry standards, benchmarks and recent in sales & lead generation to optimize the pipeline, upgrade conversion rates, improve forecasting and reporting accuracy and internal cooperation.
Monitor and review business performance in line with budgets and sales expectations
Sync with the team by presenting a monthly report including progress estimation and insights
Report to CEO/COO - work closely with COO to stay aligned with company goals and allow CEO to be as hands off as possible
To be successful, you should be an excellent closer, communicator, strategic thinker, teamplayer, passionate about working towards high numbered goals, and be able to hold yourself accountable
6-10 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in a SAAS and/or Fintech company
At least a Bachelor Degree in Business, Investment Banking or Finance
Native English and preferably at least another language
Familiarity with global investor ecosystem, banks, and HNWI
Experience working within a startup culture preferred
Existing network in financial services industry
Ability to create, educate and lead a team of AEs and SDRs
Excel in customer communication and consultative selling
Self-starter, hands-on and in love with solving ongoing challenges that young companies typically face on regular bases
Not afraid to run hard after goals
