Based at our headquarters in Barcelona as well as in other strategic locations around the globe, The Hotels Network team is made up of 60 people from 20 different nationalities. To fuel our rapid growth, we are looking for an experienced VP Product to join our team based in Barcelona. Reporting to our CEO, the VP Product will oversee the development and management of the product’s roadmap, build a first-class product team, and participate in the company's strategy. Responsibilities
- Build and lead the product team.
- Oversee the roadmap, define product priorities, and manage product requests.
- Propose concrete ideas to develop & improve new and existing products.
- Work with marketing and sales to maximize the impact of new feature releases, bug fixes, enhancements, and new services.
- Communicate with and inspire both our team and our stakeholders, building momentum and ensuring our attention and resources are focused on things that matter.
- Find the right balance between working on improving our core product and investing in new initiatives with huge long-term potential.
Skills and experience
- Previous leadership experience in Product Management (+7 years).
- Proven track record of end-to-end product development in a SaaS company.
- Experience managing and mentoring multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong technical understanding, as well as knowledge and experience with product development methodologies.
- A track record of working collaboratively with engineers to help prioritize technical trade-offs; demonstrated experience guiding and motivating technical teams.
- Ability to install a growth mindset in the organization.
- Stakeholder management skills — you have a track record of successfully taking in a lot of input and conflicting requests while still moving forward at a fast pace.
- Research on new ideas and look for solutions to complex problems.
- Strong analytical abilities and experience with using data to inform decisions.
- Ability to thrive with ambiguity and work autonomously.
