About the position

As VP of People, you will be responsible for creating and implementing world-class policies to attract, develop and retain a diverse set of high performing individuals. You will report directly to the CEO and work closely with the Leadership team to ensure that Geoblink is the best place to work. You will also have full ownership on creating bespoke learning and development policies to ensure our employees can reach their career aspirations. As VP of People, you will also have a responsibility to lead on all People led projects to deliver an engaged workforce and advise senior management on future scaling needs.


The responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the People Operations team and take responsibility of all HR related duties
  • Design, implement and continuously improve our People processes throughout the business
  • Design and implement world-class processes for our Learning & Development, Reward & Benefits and Employee Experience
  • Build a robust world-class candidate hiring and on-boarding experience which ensures all Geoblinkers involved in the hiring process are in line with the same vision
  • Continuously improve all People processes by reducing friction, driving appropriate reporting & analytics and implementing systems
  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders on optimising the effectiveness of talent as an operation and driving consistency across the company
  • Improve and maintain an accurate and efficient HR back-office related to payroll, information database and documentation.
  • Partner with and advise senior management on all things people-related
  • Act as an advocate and trusted resource for all Geoblink employees


Required Skills & Background

  • 7+ years of experience in an HR role within high-growth start ups
  • Experience leading a People team, preferably with a mix of experience in fast-growing technology companies
  • Flexibility to pivot from strategic, high level program implementation to granular “in the weeds” day to day work
  • Strong analytics & reporting skills, experience with Workable or similar ATS
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders and working with C-level executives
  • A clear, approachable, and friendly communication style and strong customer service orientation
  • Experience hiring, developing and managing business and technical recruitment teams
  • Experience implementing people programs including performance coaching, compensation review process, HR compliance, and employee development/growth
  • Strong project management skills, proven ability to design clear processes, and a very detail-oriented yet flexible approach to problem solving
  • Experience with employee relations and knowledge of local laws and compliance
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
