UX/UI designer in Barcelona

Responsibilities

We are looking for a broad-thinking designer who understands business and product challenges and can bring them to final usable solutions through a design thinking process.

You will be part of the product team responsible of thinking, developing and designing a new biometric-based buying experience solution that will close up relationship between merchants and users making them feel unique.

We need someone with a good back, strong stomach, level head and a big heart.

Your day-to-day in the company:

You will work hand in hand with the product team to shape ideas and create prototypes. An average day with us would look like:

• Starting from a problem, an ideation initiative will be prepared by one of our product owners.
• From this initiative, you will need to develop low-fidelity prototypes: user flows and wireframes.
• Finally you will help design beautiful, clear interfaces for our solution.

Requirements:

• Interaction design experience – How is the solution organized and behave? What is the journey our customers go through?
• Visual design experience – How does the product look and feel? Does it align with our brand?
• UI development – How to build quality interfaces quickly and flexibly.
• Experience turning complex problems into simple and engaging customer experiences for the web & mobile platforms
• Comfort with an iterative design process that includes accepting and managing feedback and constructive criticism
• Excellent collaboration skills
• Expertise in all the relevant design tools (Sketch, Adobe creative suite, Invision, etc…)
• A portfolio showing your relevant works is required

3 Nice-to-have:

• Research Experience – What do customers want and will they understand how to use our product?
• Copywriting Experience – How do we describe our product in a understandable way to our customers.
• Skills and knowledge in animation tools, while not necessary, would be beneficial.
