We're looking for a UK Business Development Manager with endless
energy to help accelerate our growth and retail partnerships. You’ll be
the face and voice of the UK business and be responsible for the entire
revenue strategy for your region: From deep market research to repping
Harmony at events to pitching and closing new retail partners and
building great long term relationships - We’re looking for a sales
superstar who can do it all.

About You
You have at least two years of business development experience under your belt.
You likely won't have dealt with everything you'll encounter at
Harmony, but you have a background that will guide your decision-making
and enable you to make educated decisions.
You've got a hustler mindset. You’re not afraid to
make hundreds of calls per week and have previous successful experience
as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or
exceeding targets.
You know how to deploy a complete sales strategy.
You are comfortable to implement an efficient sales process via lead
generation, closing and nurturing. You know how to balance your tasks to
bring recurring, fast-growing revenue.
You are a social creature. You are an excellent
communicator, able to present and influence credibly and effectively at
all levels of our organisation or our industry. You can adapt your
message to any professional from small to large businesses.
You are a skilled written communicator. Harmony is
an international company and written communication is critical. You'll
use summaries and reports to communicate findings, objectives and plans
to the team.
You love doing things efficiently. The work you do
will have a disproportionate impact on the business. We believe in
systems and processes that let us scale our impact to be larger than
ourselves.
Things You Might Do
Harmony is a small and fast-growing company, so you'll likely get
experience on many different projects across the organization. That
said, here are some things you'll probably do:
- Develop a growth strategy focused both on revenue and client happiness
- Conduct research to identify new markets, prospects and client needs
- Contact hundreds of clients and prospects every week
- Arrange business meetings with prospects and clients
- Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to laws, rules and guidelines
- Identify, prepare and attend the key trade shows in your market
- Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
- Build great long-term relationships with new and existing customers
- Develop junior staff into invaluable salespeople and team members
