The challenge is as enormous as the scale and style of the whole DocPlanner undertaking - we are the world's leading marketplace for doctors and patients, enabling booking and management of doctor's offices (SaaS model). We are a leader in 11 countries, creating a tool for over 92k active doctors. What is more, 61.9 mln unique patients are visiting our website each month. Last month, 4.8 mln medical visits were booked on our website. We have 7 offices around the world and our team consists of over 1000 people.

We’re looking for a Frontend Developer to join our Tech team in Barcelona. The recruitment and onboarding process is done remotely and remote work within Spain. However, when the situation is stable, there might be a need for this person to travel to our offices periodically.

Requirements

What experience and skills do you need to do a great job in this position?

  • You have experience working on Single Page Applications using API,
  • You work with ES6+ and one of the modern JS frameworks. We work with Vue, but if you have experience with React or Angular - it’s not a problem for us. We are just looking for someone open for further development in Vue
  • You are an expert in SCSS and HTML
  • You know Git very well
  • You know how to work with Atomic Design in a way of separated context
  • You know how to organize and maintain components in a centralized way
  • Taking care of details is your natural way of thinking
  • You always remember to optimize for speed, instead of remembering it from time to time,
  • Refactoring is your habit, not a duty,
  • You are proficient enough to work independently on your tasks, but also open to asking for help or challenge ideas when something goes wrong.
  • You are interested in working with such tools as Yarn, Webpack, Jest, and Docker,
  • You like people and working in the team, at the same time you can easily challenge the ideas of others,
  • You can communicate in English (both spoken and written - min. B2 level).


You’re a great fit for this role if you:

  • You have experience in Node.js,
  • You have experience in Server Side Rendering (using JS framework),
  • You know how to describe code using JSdoc,
  • You’re familiar with Conventional Commits and Semantic Versioning,
  • You have experience in setting up monorepos for applications,
  • You’re familiar with a twig or any other template engine (we rewrite twigs to Vue a lot, so it is good to know it),
  • Never stop looking for innovations and improvements but also understand Business perspective,
  • Have passion and love to share your knowledge with others.
